The ROC Service Center in the Rosa Khutor Alpine Resort resumed its work
The Service Center specializing on preparing ski and snowboard equipment, created in 2012 in Sochi, resumed its work in early December. On Thursday, December 5, a group of test pilots involved in a special project of the Russian Olympic Committee aimed at finding effective structures of sliding surfaces (Steinschlifft), for the first time in the 2013/2014 season went to the slope of the Rose Khutor Alpine resort. On the first day of work the test pilots went down the slope on skis and snowboards 250 times.
“Winter in Sochi began according to the calendar, thus allowing us to get to work , not going beyond the scheduled time. Now we have all the necessary conditions to complete the tasks of the project within the framework of the preparation for the Olympic Games “,- said the project manager Andrey Plakhutin. Note that some all-Russian sports federations, such as the Freestyle Federation of Russia and the Russian Alpine Ski and Snowboard Federation, are already enjoying the services of the center.
December 10-12 in Sochi, at the “Laura” Cross-country Ski and Biathlon Center another service center specializing on the cross-country skis will start its work.
