As part of the 48th General Assembly of the European Olympic Committees, which took place on 25-26 October in Warsaw, the Secretary General of the ROC Anastasia Davydova met with the Vice President and Secretary General of the Beijing 2022 Organizing Committee, Han Zirong.
Both sides discussed cooperation in various areas, including preparations for the 2022 Winter Olympics. The Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic Winter Games intends to use the Russian experience in organizing the 2014 Games in Sochi, which were held on an excellent level, according to Han Zirong.
Anastasia Davydova, in turn, assured that the Russian Olympic Committee is ready to continue to assist Chinese colleagues in matters within the competence of the ROC.
The meeting was also attended by Alexei Slautin, Deputy Head of the Department of International Relations of the Russian Olympic Committee.
As a gift, representatives of the Beijing 2022 Organizing Committee presented Anastasia Davydova with the initial images of the mascots for the 2022 Winter Olympics signed by the original designers.
