Adherents of Fair play will meet in Kazan
On July 18-19 Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan, will host a series of events of the International Fair Play Committee, including a Scientific Congress Fair Play – Nobility and Achievements in Sports, a meeting of the International Fair Play Committee Council and Award Ceremony of the World Fair Play Awards for the year 2013.
The main purpose of these events is to discuss prospects for Fair Play Movement development in the world and to honor World Fair Play Awards winners.
Besides that, a photo exhibition, titled Nobility in Sports, will be held on the sidelines of the project and prominent Russian Olympic champions will give master classes for young athletes of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Foreign and Russian scientists and experts, representatives of national Fair Play organizations, a number of heads of international sports federations, UNESCO representatives and the winners of the Fair Play awards will come to Kazan, which has justly became known as one of the top sporting capitals of the world.
President of the Russian Olympic Committee and IOC member Alexander Zhukov, Minister of Sport Vitaly Mutko, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov will take part in the events.
