Rio Olympic Games organizers are forced to seek a new location for water polo matches

Water polo matches of the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games will not be held at the venue, where it was originally scheduled. According to the BBC broadcaster (UK), the Julio Delamare Aquatic Park, scheduled to host the water polo tournament will not be built on time, therefore the organizers are forced  to seek a new location for water polo matches.

As noted, disagreements between the state government, which owns the property, and the private company that manages it have led to delays.

Most likely the matches could be moved to the main swimming venue at the Olympic Park. Another possible venue is the Maria Lenk centre, which will host the diving and synchronized swimming.
