ROC Mobile Service Centers will go to Karelia
In the first summer month, the Snowboard (Alpine Skiing) Mobile Service Center of the Russian Olympic Committee will be located in the Republic of Karelia.
From 06 to 12 June, the services of the ROC Mobile Service Center will be used by sports fans in the town of Medvezhyegorsk (Ostrovsky str., 20), and from 12 to 18 June – in Petrozavodsk (Friedrich Engels str., 4).
Employees of the innovative ‘workshop on wheels’ will give introductory seminars and workshops for regional athletes, coaches and specialists, and will help prepare sports equipment. Also, all those willing will have a chance to get acquainted with the equipment of the service centers and methods, used by technicians, when preparing equipment for members of the Russian national teams.
Recall that Mobile Service Centers of the ROC are the legacy of the Sochy Olympic Games. Using the technological base acquired from the Shtineshlift project, delivered by the ROC, with the support of the Gazprom company, specialists carry out cross-country ski, mountain ski and snowboard base machining.
