ROC met with its marketing partners in the Innovation Center

A seminar for marketing partners the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) was held at the ROC Innovation Center. It was attended by representatives of 24 companies:

The participants were greeted by the ROC President Alexander Zhukov. He thanked partners for a long-term cooperation and for their support of the ROC and the Russian Olympic team.

“Together we had tense, but incredibly interesting years when preparing for the Sochi Game.  Not only the best ever Olympic Winter Games, but also the Russian Olympic team’s victory became the result of our teamwork. I am sure that in February 2014, we were all very proud”, – said President of the ROC. According to him, the Sochi Games, which have brought the whole country together, were without exaggeration, a real triumph of Russia. I suppose this has become the greatest legacy of our Games along with the modern infrastructure of Sochi and new modern sports facilities”.


In 2014, the ROC was recognized as the most successful National Olympic Committee of the year, and our project called the House of Fans of the Russian Team in Sochi received numerous prizes and awards, including international ones. But, of course, we’re not going to stop there and in 2015 we will launch new ambitious  programs and projects”.

Deputy Director General of the ROC Dmitry Belyawski told the guests about the Russian Olympic Committee’s marketing structure and Head of Marketing and Commercial Programs Department of the ROC Natalia Clark presented the marketing strategy of the Russian Olympic Committee until 2018. In accordance with this strategy the ROC has plans to work even more closely with its partners both on the existing and on the new projects and programs.

Head of the Event marketing of the ROC Yulia Dogadina told guests about the projects and programs, such as Russian Olympic Day, Day of Winter Sports, Olympic Ball, Olympic Patrol, Olympic Changes, Olympic Legend, Sport for All, etc. 


Oleg Rumyantsev, Head of Council of assistance of the ROC shared plans to build the House of the Fans of the Russian Team at the Games of the XXXI Olympiad in 2016 in Rio de Janeiro. The main objective of this project is to provide our team with maximum fans support at the Games. In order to achieve this objective we will have to help them plan and organize their trip to the Games and make the House of the Fans in Rio their second home. According to Oleg Rumyantsev, fans will be able to go to competitions together or to stay in the House to watch the live broadcast together and root for our team. The House will become a place where fans will meet and communicate face-to-face both with current athletes and coaches and with veterans of sport. It will also be the main venue for  celebrating Russian winners of the 2016 Games.

In her turn, JetSetSports Business Development Director Olesya Bezhina has told about the hospitality program for the fans in Rio de Janeiro and about the possibility to carry out our own hospitality programs, which can be organized by ROC marketing partners for their guests and clients at the Rio de Janeiro Games.

A few words about the ROC Innovation Cente, which has already become one of the central platforms for sports seminars, lectures and meetings, told its Head Sergey Zotkin. He also offered partners a unique opportunity of cooperation within this project.


Summing up the Seminar, Natalie Clark said: “We want to make such meetings with our partners regular. Such events serve as effective platform for communication and exchange of views. They help develop mutually beneficial relations and implement new joint projects”.
