Forum of Young Researchers of Olympism began its work in Moscow

The All-Russian tour of  the XXVII Olympic Scientific Session of young scientists and students of Russia called ‘Olympism, the Olympic Movement and the Olympic Games (History and Present)’ began its work on February 3 in Moscow. Traditionally it is held at the Russian State University of Physical Culture, Sport, Youth and Tourism (GTSOLIFK).

At the opening ceremony Alexander Kontanistov, Professor, Head of  Olympic Education sector of the ROC, welcomed participants and guests on behalf of the ROC.

This year’s session is devoted to the 85th anniversary of Honorary Vice-President, Doctor of pedagogical sciences, Professor Vladimir Rodichenko. Alexander Kontanistov delivered information about his diverse activities.

The session was attended by students, undergraduates, graduate students and young scientists, winners of institutional and regional stages of the session. A total of 42 reports are planned to be heard in the scientific program.
