Russian wrestlers won two medals on the second day of the European Championship
On the second day of the Wrestling European Championship, held in Vantaa (Finland) Russian team won gold and silver medals.
Russian Maria Gurova became the champion of Europe in the -53kg weight category. Our athlete defeated Maria Prevoparaki (Greece) in the final fight. Bronze medals went to Natalia Budu (Moldova) and Anna Maria Paval (Romania).
Second place in the -61kg weight category went to Russian wrestler, 2013 World championship winner, Bekkhan Goygereyev, who was defeated by Hasan Aliyev (Azerbaijan) in the final fight.
