Memorandums of cooperation with National Olympic committees of Slovenia and Mongolia Signed
In the framework of the ANOC General Assembly, which is underway these days in Prague, the President of the Russian Olympic Committee Alexander Zhukov and the first Vice-President of the ROC Stanislav Pozdnyakov held a number of bilateral working meetings with colleagues from the NOCs of other countries. The ROC and the National Olympic Committees of Slovenia and Mongolia, represented by their heads Bogdan Gabrovets and Demchigjav Zagdsuren signed Memorandums of cooperation.
The agreements provide for the efficient development of bilateral cooperation in the field of athletes’ and coaches’ preparation. In particular, organization of joint training sessions, invitation for competitions, congresses, conferences, training seminars and courses. In addition, partner NOCs should help each other to promote fundamental principles and values of the Olympic movement, respect the IOC Olympic Charter, protect the rights of athletes, coaches and other specialists.
During the talks the parties stressed mutual interest in deepening cooperation in several areas, and also discussed current issues of development of Olympic movement in general.
