The preparations for the Summer Ski Jumping Grand Prix in Nizhny Tagil are coming to an end
Andrey Selivanov, Deputy Executive Director of the ROC together with the representatives of the Olympic Council of Sverdlovsk Region took part in the session of the Organizing Committee on preparation and staging of the Summer Ski Jumping Grand Prix. This Grand Prix will be held in Nizhny Tagil on the mountain Dolgaya from 13 to 15 September.
Among other things the members of the session discussed the questions of accommodation of the participants of the competitions, transportation and food supply, and all necessary conditions. Besides that they considered the organization of the audience infrastructure.
“With the approach of the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games attention to the competitions held in Russia, especially the international ones, is increasing. It is therefore very important to prepare well for the Grand Prix and stage it at the highest level”, – said Andrey Selivanov. In the course of the working trip he also inspected the venues where the competitions will be held, and noted a very high level of readiness for the launch.
It is expected that the athletes from 15 countries of the world will take part in the Summer Ski Jumping Grand Prix.
