Elena Isinbayeva elected Head of the RUSADA Supervisory Board

Two-time Olympic Pole Vault champion, member of the International Olympic Committee and the ROC Athletes’ Commission, Elena Isinbayeva was elected to the post of Chairman of the Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) Supervisory Board  for the four-year term of office. The decision was made today, at the first meeting of the new  administrative body of the organization.

Alexander Ivlev, Country Managing Partner for Russia at Ernst & Young, appointed Deputy Head of the RUSADA Supervisory Board.

Vadim Bayramov, Director of the Legal Department of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, Andrei Strokin, Secretary General of the Russian Paralympic Committee, five-time Paralympic champion, Sergei Khrychikov,  Head of Sport Conventions of the Council of Europe, international anti-doping expert, Vladimir Chekhonin, member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, M.D. and Sergey Ryazansky, cosmonaut, Hero of the RF, candidate of biological sciences, Head of the All-Russian Public State Children’s and Youth Organization ‘Russian schoolchildren movement’. 

Elena Isinbayeva was nominated by the ROC Athletes’ Commission, headed by the fencing Olympic champion, Sofia Velikaya.
