The Russian Olympic Committee signs the Data Exchange Agreement with the International Information Agency “Rossiya Segodnya”13 June
The General Information Partner of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) and the Russian Olympic team is the International Information Agency “Rossiya Segodnya”. The signatures under the relevant agreement were put on Thursday by President of the ROC Stanislav Pozdnyakov and General Director of the media group Dmitry Kiselev.
On June 3, the flagship ZASPORT store on Novy Arbat, 26 opened the outfit centre for athletes and members of the delegation, who will participate in the 2nd European Games. Competitions will be held in Minsk from 21 to 30 June.

From 13 to 20 May, the coaches of all the Russian ski teams, from the junior to the main one, underwent advanced training courses at the Russian International Olympic University (RIOU) in Sochi as part of the ROC pilot educational programme.
At the European Games, Russian athletes will be able to compete in all sports on the programme, including the team tournament22 May
From 19 to 21 May, the Forum of the National Olympic Committees of Central and South-Eastern Europe was held in Sopot, Poland. Along with the permanent members of the association, the leaders of the NOCs of Russia and Spain took part in the event as observers.
Deputy Secretary General — head of the ROC International Relations Department Yuri Yuriev has been included in the Executive Committee of the European Olympic Committees. This decision was taken at today’s meeting of the EOC governing body in Vienna. The candidacy of the representative of the ROC was supported by all members of the Executive Committee of the organisation.
As part of the 9th St. Petersburg International Legal Forum (SPBILF), the ROC President spoke at the discussion session “Development of UNESCO International Convention Against Doping in Sport: Current Challenges and Prospects”, during which the participants discussed further steps in the anti-doping sphere in order to ensure fair and transparent rules of interaction between states and representatives of the international Olympic movement in countering the use of prohibited substances.
Within the framework of the implementation of Agenda 2020, IOC President Thomas Bach introduced changes to the composition of the main Commissions of the International Olympic Committee. By the decision of the IOC head, ROC President Stanislav Pozdnyakov was included in the Olympic Programme Commission (it considers including or excluding certain sports from the programme of the upcoming Games), and head of the ROC President’s Office Rodion Plitukhin became a member of the Sport and Active Society Commission.
On April 6 two sports holidays were celebrated in Moscow simultaneously – International Day of Sport for Development and Peace and World Table Tennis Day, established in 2015 at the initiative of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF).

Today, a meeting of the Presidential Council for the Development of Physical Culture and Sport chaired by Vladimir Putin was held at the Anastasia Davydova Olympic Centre for Synchronised Swimming. The main focus was on national goals and strategic objectives in regard to the development of sports in the country up until 2024 and beyond.

Today, Vladimir Putin opened the meeting of the Presidential Council for the Development of Physical Culture and Sport in Moscow. The Head of State declared that “the field of sports and physical fitness was and remains one of the top priorities of our social policy.”
