On June 30, the Russian Olympic Committee held a meeting of the ROC Athletes’ Commission, chaired by Sofya Velikaya. The session was held online.

The President of the Russian Olympic Committee Stanislav Pozdnyakov retained his membership in one of the key commissions of the International Olympic Committee – the Olympic Programme Commission. The new composition of the IOC commissions was approved by IOC President Thomas Bach.
The International Olympic Committee has updated the composition of its commissions. In addition to Stanislav Pozdnyakov, who was approved for a new term as a member of the Olympic Programme Commission, the powers of other ROC representatives were also extended.
