  • As part of her visit to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk to attend the I International Children’s Games ″Children of Asia″, ROC Secretary General Anastasia Davydova held a number of business meetings with NOC leaders of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

    The five-time Olympic champion in synchronized swimming spoke to the Advisor to the President of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Ordabayev, Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic Salamat Ergeshov, Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Turkmenistan Azat Myradov and Director of the Department for Coordination of Olympic Sports of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan Akrom Nizametdinov.

    The parties discussed the issues of practical cooperation in areas such as the training of representatives of NOCs at the Russian International Olympic University (RIOU), the exchange of coaches, athletes and specialists, as well as participation in the II Forum of Young Olympians.

    Anastasia Davydova also held a working meeting with the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Sakhalin Region, Anton Zaitsev, during which they discussed the issues of development of mass sports and high achievement sports on Sakhalin Island.
