  • On 28 November, at the ANOC General Assembly in Tokyo, National Olympic Committees of Russia and South Korea signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

    The Memorandum will facilitate the development of partnership relations between the two NOCs including in the areas of athlete training, coach and other specialists advanced training, joint sports projects organization, as well as the participation of officials in various congresses, conferences, seminars, and courses.

    “Today, we have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Olympic Committee of South Korea. It is a very important document for the ROC as it regulates the relations with our partners from other countries”, said Stanislav Pozdnyakov.

    ROC President emphasized that all the understandings with the IOC Olympic Solidarity Commission   as per the agreement signed in late October stay in force and will be consistently implemented in full in spite of the decision of Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah to temporarily suspend himself from his role and responsibilities within the IOC and the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC).
