  • The President of the Russian Olympic Committee congratulated the professionals of higher educational institutions of physical culture and sports, as well as regional Olympic academies on the occasion of Day of Knowledge and the beginning of the new academic year!

    Stanislav Pozdnyakov:

    Dear friends!

On behalf of the Russian Olympic Committee and myself, I sincerely congratulate you all on the occasion of Day of Knowledge and the beginning of the new 2020-2021 academic year!

The educational process, as well as sports training, has recently experienced trying times with very difficult conditions, however, no hardships can stop a self-confident person in making the right choice or a goal-oriented person in attaining professional and sports improvement.

Highly qualified scientific and teaching personnel are actively working in our sports universities, academies and institutes across the country. It is here that the accumulated experience of previous generations of specialists is transferred to younger colleagues who will continue the glorious traditions of the national physical culture and sports movement. These are traditions that are inseparable from the bright ideals and eternal values of Olympism on which the entire universal sports system is built.

Everyone who has achieved success in life and the professional sphere understands perfectly well the role of teachers and mentors.

I wish you all a productive academic year!

    Good health, vigour and well-being!
