    Dear friends!

On behalf of the Russian Olympic Committee and myself, I congratulate the participants and students, the academic teaching staff, colleagues and the administration of physical culture universities and specialized departments, as well as the members of regional Olympic academies on the occasion of Day of Knowledge and the beginning of the new 2021/2022 academic year.

The recently held Games of the XXXII Olympiad in Tokyo vividly demonstrated the uniting force of the international Olympic movement and the unprecedented importance of sport in the modern world.

It is within the walls of specialized educational institutions, at specialized departments and academies that the professional basis and the reserve of the domestic physical culture and sports industry should be formed.

Ultimately, the quality of the management resource of the Russian sports industry depends on your daily and painstaking work, dear colleagues, and how listeners, students and graduate students alike are inspired by it. This plays a definitive role in the level of competence of graduates who are assigned to strengthen all elements of the management resource, actively promote physical culture, Olympic values and a healthy lifestyle among our fellow citizens.

I wish you all good health, as well as sports, creative and scientific achievements, personal and professional success in the upcoming academic year!
