    – Yesterday during the regular press conference of the IOC, the official representative of the organization, referring to the position of the International Skating Union (ISU), said that the results of the team events and women’s singles events (if our athlete takes the first three places), will be considered “preliminary” and they will be kind of marked with as “asterisk”.

    We strongly disagree with it.

As for the results of the team events, the Russian Olympic Committee has already sent a letter to the ISU in which it stated in details and reasonably that the results of the team events are not subject to revision under any circumstances, regardless of the outcome of the disciplinary investigation in relation to the athlete.

The anti-doping rules are worded in such a way that a revision of the results in the team events is possible only if the alleged anti-doping rule violation is committed during the period of the Olympic Games.

We will consistently defend this position in any potential proceedings, including at the CAS, if necessary.
