  • Michael Degtyarev:

On behalf of the entire sports community, I would like to extend my congratulations to you on National Flag Day of the Russian Federation. Our country has secured remarkable success in sports while representing our national flag – claiming victory in over ten Olympic Games and winning more than 1,800 Olympic medals. We are among the few nations to have hosted both the Summer and Winter Olympic Games. Our athletes have consistently excelled in various sports for decades.

Today, our athletes are still achieving victories at the World and European Championships, despite facing unfair restrictions. Both the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation and the Russian Olympic Committee are fully committed to ensuring that our athletes can restore their statutory rights to represent their Homeland fairly and honorably on the international stage under their national flag. We can definitely make it happen!
