  • Rodion Plitukhin spoke about the opportunity for representatives of the Pakistani sports community to study at the Russian International Olympic University (RIOU) under the Master of Sport Administration program. Currently applications for participation in the scholarship competition for partner NOCs are being accepted.

    In addition, the ROC Secretary General highlighted the participation of Pakistani athletes in training events, competitions and educational seminars in Russia in 2022, including the Children of Asia International Sports Games in Vladivostok.

    Rodion Plitukhin noted that next year the Children of Asia Games will be held in Yakutsk and the 6th International Forum of Young Olympians will be held there as well, which will be an important part of the events program. The organizers and the host party will certainly be happy to see the Pakistani delegation among the participants.

    According to Muhammad Khalid Mahmood, the Pakistan Olympic Association is interested in cooperation with the Russian Olympic Committee in specific areas and in the humanitarian sphere in a broad sense.
