  • At the press conference held at the ROC within the ‘Russian Olympic Team Media Center’ project results of the national team’s performance at the World Championships in Stuttgart were summed up. Together with Russian athletes who gathered at the ROC Innovation Center. The event was attended by President of the All-Russian Federation of Rhythmic Gymnastics Irina Viner-Usmanova.

    Head coach of the national team greeted the guests and media representatives and noted that the Russian team is ready to work hard year after year, in spite of all difficulties.

    “The responsibility that rests on the shoulders of athletes and coaches is like the Sword of Damocles hanging over us all the time. We have no right to let it fall. We    have been feeling it for many years. Many generations of children went through it.

    Year after year in order to win we manage to do everything possible and a little bit more. This is a very difficult task, but young girls who spend most of their time at the training base in Novogorsk know that they are willing to work hard to defend the honor of their country, standing on the podium and  listening to the national anthem,” – said Irina Viner-Usmanova.
