Commemorative rings from Adamas, decorated with Olympic symbols, will be awarded to the champions and medalists of the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games
First commemorative rings will be awarded to the champions and prize-winners of the Sochi XXII Olympic Winter Games on May, 30 at the State Kremlin Palace, at the Russian Olympians Ball – 2014.
Adamas, the official supplier of medals to the Sochi Games will manufactur the jewelry with Olympic symbols.
“XXII Olympic Winter Games in Sochi turned into a bright, memorable holiday for all the citizens of our country, for the fans all over the world, – said the President of the Russian Olympic Committee Alexander Zhukov.
– According to many specialists these were the best Olympic Games ever. The whole Russia was supporting our Olympic team and the athletes met the highest expectations. For the first time in the history of Russian elite sport Russian Olympic team topped the unofficial medal standings.
We are proud of our team’s success and we wish our athletes new tremendous success. This year, the Russian Olympic Committee decided to give the Russian champions and prize-winners of the Olympic Games commemorative ring, decorated with Olympic symbols. I am sure that it will become a tradition.”
A total of 49 rings were manufactured, which corresponds to the number of the champions and prize-winners of the Sochi XXII Olympic Winter Games. Manufacturing techniques combine the traditions of Russian jewelry school and modern achievements of the industry. In particular, colour design was created using cold enamel technique, new to the Russian jewelry market, while a prototype was created using 3D printers. Symbols of Russian Olympic Committee will be placed in the center of the ring.

Jewelry can become a wonderful reminder of key events in life. That is why we wanted to create a true masterpiece for our Olympians, that will pleasantly remind them of their victory at the Sochi Games”.
