  • The participants of the meeting assessed the funding of the Program to assist Candidates to become Members of the Russian Olympic Team and to ensure the participation of the Russian Olympic delegation in the Games of the XXXII Olympic Games in Tokyo (Japan), as well as the achieved values ​​of target indicators, as satisfactory.

    Furthermore, a decision was made to launch the Program to assist Candidates to become Members of the Russian Olympic Team and to ensure the participation of the Russian Olympic delegation in the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad in Paris (France) and to develop sports included in the Summer Olympic Games Program, and also to pay special attention to the adjustment of planned indicators, including taking into account the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

    The Executive Board took note of the information provided by the General Director of the ROC Vladimir Sengleev on the issue of Amendments to the Program to assist Candidates to become Members of the Russian Olympic Team and to ensure the participation of the Russian Olympic delegation in the Games of the XXIV Olympic Winter Games in Beijing (China) and to develop sports included in the Winter Olympic Games Program and the Olympic Country Program for the period 2019–2022. New editions of the annexes to these Programs have been approved.

    The participants of the meeting unanimously approved the new composition of the ROC Athletes’ Commission, which included Alexey Alipov (trap shooting), Yuri Borzakovsky (track-and-field athletics), Sofya Velikaya (fencing), Ekaterina Gamova (volleyball), Jonathan Gureiro (figure skating), Stefaniya Elfutina (sailing), Lada Zadonskaya (speed skating), Yelena Isinbaeva (track-and-field athletics), Fedor Klimov (figure skating), Anastasia Maksimova (rhythmic gymnastics), Andrey Moiseev (modern pentathlon), Aliya Mustafina (artistic gymnastics), Svetlana Romashina (synchronized swimming ), and Anastasia Fesikova (swimming).

    Based on the decision of the ROC Commission on Awards, the Honorary Badge of the ROC “For Merit in the Development of the Olympic Movement in Russia” was awarded to Gennady Maryasov, sports veteran from Tyumen Region and Honored Worker of Physical Culture of the Russian Federation, as well as Oleg Chentsov, Director of the Golubev Sports School of the Olympic reserve in Kostroma Region.

    In addition, the members of the Executive Board approved the expanded composition of the Russian Olympic team set to participate in the hockey tournament as part of the XV Winter European Youth Olympic Festival in Vuokatti (Finland) from 12 to 17 December 2021.
