Russian team was leading at the European Championships in Trampoline
Russian team was leading at the European Championships in Trampoline, which took place in Guimarães (Portugal). Russian athletes won 13 medals including seven gold, five silver and one bronze.
Russia’s Sergey Azaryan and Michail Melnik, Victoria Voronina and Yana Pavlova became the winners of the continental championships in synchronized trampolining. Dmitry Ushakov, Mikhail Melnik, Andrey Yudin and Sergey Azaryan celebrated success in team jumping and Michail Zalomin and Polina Troyanova – in Double Mini-Tramp. Michail Zalomin, Andrey Gladenkov, Alexander Zebrov and Sergey Kovalev won the team competition in Double Mini Tramp and Alexander Mironov, Timofey Podust, Tagir Murtazaev and Grigoriy Noskov were the best in Tumbling.
Russia’s Dmitry Ushakov took second place in the trampoline individual. In the team trampoline women’s national team composed of Irina Kundius, Yana Pavlova, Anna Kornetskaya and Victoria Voronina. Anastasia Yusupova took second place in Double Mini Tramp. Our athletes received silver as well – in team competition in Double Mini Tramp (Polina Troyanova, Anastasia Scheglakova, Anastasia Ignatieva and Svetlana Karavayeva). Ekaterina Gaas, Victoria Danilenko, Anastasia Isupova and Anna Korobeinikova became European vice-champions in Tumbling.
Ekaterina Gaas showed the third result of the competition in Double Mini-Tramp.
It is worth noting that these European Championships became the qualifier for the European games, that will be held June 12-28, in Baku (Azerbaijan).
