  • The President of the ROC held a working meeting with the Head of the Russian Paralympic Committee, Vladimir Lukin, during which a wide range of issues were discussed, namely, the preparation of Russian athletes for the 2020 and 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Tokyo and Beijing respectively, the interaction of the federal subjects of Russia in the field of physical education and sports, as well as implementing the powers of the founders of RUSADA.

    Furthermore, Vladimir Lukin congratulated Stanislav Pozdnyakov on the successful performance of the Russian Olympic team at the II European Games in Minsk and the XV European Youth Olympic Festival in Baku, and also on the fact that the ROC received an official invitation from the IOC to participate in the 2020 Games in Tokyo.

    The President of the ROC, in turn, noted that our Paralympic athletes once again perform at international events demonstrating great results.

    The working meeting was attended by the First Vice President of the RPC Pavel Rozhkov, the Secretary General of the RPC, five-time Paralympic champion Andrei Strokin, the head of the Legal Department of the ROC Alexandra Brilliantova and the Head of the Office of the President of the ROC Rodion Plitukhin.

    Before the meeting, Stanislav Pozdnyakov and Pavel Rozhkov toured the Museum of Paralympic Sports.
