Stanislav Pozdnyakov wished the young participants of the competition success in sports, positive impressions of Vladivostok and a great mood.
– Dear friends! Children of Asia!
On behalf of the Russian Olympic Committee, I am sincerely glad to welcome all of you at the solemn opening ceremony of the Athletes Village, which will become a welcoming and hospitable home for each participant of the Games for the next two weeks.
You have to compete in strength, agility, speed, and other sports skills. The Children of Asia Games, of course, will have champions and prize-winners. But, most importantly, there will be no losers here! Because each of you will take home with you the most important value – the friendship between athletes, on which the entire Olympic movement is built upon.
And the Children of Asia International Sports Games symbolize friendship, respect, and the pursuit of excellence, which is what unites us all. That is why the Russian Olympic community supports these wonderful competitions and will continue to do so.
I wish you all a great mood, great impressions of the wonderful city of Vladivostok and, of course, success in sport!
Happy holiday!
Vladimir Maksimov, President of the Children of Asia Games International Committee, noted the importance of these competitions for establishing friendly relations and exchanging experience between young athletes from the Asian continent.
– On behalf of the Children of Asia Games International Committee and myself, I would like to wish you all a successful performance in Vladivostok and, of course, to find new friends among your peers from other countries and regions of the Russian Federation.
The Children of Asia event does not imply only sport. It is also a platform for meeting friends and communicating with young athletes from Asia.
I am sure that in the future we will see you among the participants and winners of the largest and most prestigious international competitions. I wish you all happiness, health and may the best athlete win!
