According to recent media reports, CAS did not approve the musical composition proposed by us due to the restriction on the anthem’s use at the Olympic Games and World Championships.
The ROC Athletes’ Commission proposed “Katyusha”. We are currently waiting for the International Olympic Committee’s official decision and position to be declared. Our primary and urgent current intent is to find an option acceptable to all parties.
We have at least a few compositions in mind, and we express our conviction that the final choice will not be a problem or the subject of heated debate.
