  • The General Information Partner of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) and the Russian Olympic team is the International Information Agency “Rossiya Segodnya”. The signatures under the relevant agreement were put on Thursday by President of the ROC Stanislav Pozdnyakov and General Director of the media group Dmitry Kiselev.

“It’s a very important event for us”, said Head of the ROC. “In modern sports life, the theme of propaganda of Olympic values and Olympism in general is one of the main ones. I am confident that our partners from the International Information Agency “Rossiya Segodnya” will be able to make a new, significant contribution to informing all categories of the audience about key events happening not only during the Olympic Games, but also other important Olympic programs and projects that are being implemented in Russia”.

“We hope that our joint work will help to make the projects relating to the coverage of the main events from the world of Olympic sports more creative, with new forms of presentation and promotion”, emphasized Stanislav Pozdnyakov.

Dmitry Kiselev, in turn, noted that the International Information Agency “Rossiya Segodnya” has a lot of experience in covering sports competitions.

“Our agency works under the slogan “we support our people”, said Dmitry Kiselev. “It is a great honor for us to become an information partner for the ROC. Together, we will be stronger and be able to raise the morale of fans and athletes”.
