On December 12, the Olympic Assembly approved the Program to assist Candidates to become Members of the Russian Olympic Team and to ensure the participation of the Russian Olympic Delegation at the XXIV Olympic Winter Games 2022 in Beijing (China). The Executive Director of the Russian Speed Skating Union (RSSU) Varvara Barysheva spoke about the interaction with ROC as part of this document in an interview with the ROC Information Service.

The Youth World Boxing Championships in Budapest ended with a triumph of Russian young athletes. For the first time in the history of such competitions, our team took first place in the team event, winning 6 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze medals. The Best Boxer prize was taken by Dzhambulat Bigalow (69 kg).
The TOTAL BWF World Championships 2018 to be held

In the first round of the European Water Polo Championships, held in Barcelona, the Russian team did not experience serious problems in the match against Slovakia, which ended with the score of 12:6 (3:1, 2:1, 5:1, 2:3) in favor of Sergei Evstigneev’s team.
The World Fencing Championships gets underway on July 19, in China. The Russian team arrived in the city of Wuxi in advance to adapt to the climatic conditions and time zone of China.
The Russian national Luge team continues preparation for the season in Paramonovo, Moscow Region. Until July 20, athletes will work on the start at the push-off strech, and then go to the recovery camp in the Crimea.
On July 18, Ekaterinburg will host the first European Mixed Team Judo Championship in history. The competition will take place on a tatami of the Uralochka Sport Palace with the support of the Russian Copper Company.
