    Also on the agenda was interaction within the framework of expanding humanitarian cooperation at the level of the ROC and the NOCs of Middle Eastern countries. Stanislav Pozdnyakov noted that the Russian Olympic Committee had productive working relations with the Russian Equestrian Federation and relevant international organizations – FEI and EEF.

    – The International Tent Pegging Federation has made impressive progress over the course of 10 years of work. With such an approach to business and enthusiasm, your plans to include the sport into the Olympic program do not look unattainable. Examples of breakdancing, skateboarding and rock climbing confirm that nothing is impossible. The main thing is a great desire, hard work and support from colleagues. Today, as far as I know, ITPF unites 45 countries. I am sure that interest in tent pegging around the world will grow, – said the President of the ROC.

    On his part, Mohammed Issa Al Fairuz spoke in detail about the history of the creation of the International Tent Pegging Federation, the calendar of competitions, interaction with the International Federation and the Eurasian Equestrian Association, as well as plans for the near future.

    The ITPF President highly appreciated the international competitions and seminar for judges and coaches in tent pegging, which took place in Moscow from July 21 to 25 under the auspices of the ITPF with the assistance of the Russian Equestrian Federation. In addition, Mohammed Issa Al Fairuz emphasized the inadmissibility of political interference in sports processes, as well as any discrimination against athletes, expressing hope for the return of Russian and Belarusian athletes to full participation in international competitions.

    At the end of the meeting, which was also attended by Advisor to the President of the Russian Equestrian Federation and Member of the Presidential Council of the Russian Equestrian Federation Maxim Kretov and a member of the national team of Russia in tent pegging Lidia Mosyakova, the parties exchanged memorable gifts.

    On June 3rd, Vyborg hosted the opening of the IX World Games of Young Compatriots and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states. The large-scale competitions will feature around 450 athletes aged 14-18 from 35 countries.
