The main goals of future engagement are to ensure compliance with the IOC Olympic Charter, to protect the rights of athletes, coaches and other specialists in the field of sport, as well as to promote the development of mass sport and elite sport.

The parties agreed to carry out joint activities aimed at organizing bilateral competitions and training events, as well as developing mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of scientific and technical assistance to the sports movement. Furthermore, this also provides for the exchange of information and consultations on all sports between coaches, medical and sports personnel, teams and athletes.

The agreements, which are in line with current challenges, also include cooperation in the broadest humanitarian sense, not limited to sport or the Olympic movement.

The Memorandums were signed by ROC President Stanislav Pozdnyakov and heads of the NOCs of Namibia, Eswatini and Mali – Abner Xoagub, Adam Mthethwa and Habib Sissoko, respectively.
