    From 11 to 15 June Sports Medicine and Science Seminar was held in Ulan Bator. It was organized by the Mongolian National Olympic Committee with the support of the ROC.

    Fulfilling obligations under the Memorandum of Understanding, signed by the NOCs of the two countries, the Russian Olympic Committee sent Sergei Sarakin, head of the Research and Methodological Department of the ROC Innovation Center, and Eduard Generosov,
    Federal Medical and Biological Agency specialist, doctor of Biological Science, head of the human molecular genetics laboratory of the Federal Scientific and Clinical Center, to the capital of Mongolia to give lectures. Also, the seminar was attended by the Professor of the Hungarian University Andras S. Zabo.

    The participants discussed topical issues of sports genetics, biomechanics, psychology and body structure. Special attention was paid to the topic of sports nutrition.

    At the closing ceremony President of the Mongolian NOC, sports physician Demchigjav Sardaren along with the experts presented the corresponding certificates to more than 40 professionals: physicians, teachers, coaches and athletes.

    The event in Ulan Bator was another example of the practical activities of the Russian Olympic Committee in the framework of cooperation with the NOCs of other countries.
