    Before opening the ROC Executive Board Meeting, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation, First Vice President of the ROC Igor Levitin solemnly presented state awards to coaches and specialists who have made a great contribution to the development of physical culture and sport.

    “I had the honour, on the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation, to award our colleagues, friends and comrades, with whom we carry the banner of Russian sport,” said Igor Levitin.

    By the decree of the President of the Russian Federation, the head coach of the Russian men’s freestyle wrestling team, Dzambolat Tedeev, was awarded the Order of Alexander Nevsky.

    “Thank you very much for such a high assessment of our work. We will try to meet your expectations at the Tokyo Olympic Games,” promised Dzambolat Tedeev.

    The Rector of the Russian International Olympic University Lev Belousov was awarded the Order of Honour.

    “This Order is not mine, it belongs to our entire friendly team,” said the Rector of the RIOU.

    The honorary title “Honoured Worker of Physical Culture of the Russian Federation” was awarded to the senior coach of the Russian national Greco-Roman wrestling team Vadim Kumaritov and Professor at the Department of Adaptology and Sports Training of the Institute of Natural Science and Sports Technologies under Moscow City Teacher Training University Alexander Ogadzhanov.

    Senior trainer at the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Mordovia “SSOR for Cycling” Lyudmila Boyarova was awarded the Certificate of Honour of the President of the Russian Federation.
