Water Polo team to go for the fourth European gold

On July 14, the European women’s Water Polo championship starts in Barcelona. The Russian team will start the tournament with a match against the Turkish team. Also at the group stage Alexander Gaidukov’s team will play with Serbia (July 15), Germany (July 17), Hungary (July 19) and Spain (July 21). To enter the quarterfinals they need to take at least the fourth place, not lower.

We showed almost the same result (6+1+3) at the 2016 Continental Championship  in Torun, before the Olympic Games  in Rio de Janeiro.

European Fencing Championships will be held from June 16 to June 21 in the Serbian city of Novi Sad. Russian epee and saber teams prepare for it in the Ozero Krugloe training center near Moscow. While foil fencers (both men and women) train in Sochi, because in Novogorsk everything is devoted to the football team now, said Ilgar Mamedov, head coach of the Russian fencing team.
