In 2025, as part of the celebration of International Olympic Day, the Olympic Committee of Russia presented a promotional video titled “Great Country – Sporting Country.”
The video promotes Olympic sports and showcases various regions of Russia through natural and industrial locations, sports facilities, as well as educational institutions.
The main characters of the video are young and decorated Russian athletes. Filming took place in iconic locations that symbolize the greatness of Russia, including Lake Baikal, the Kamchatka Volcanoes, the Kizhi Pogost, the Sayano-Shushenskaya Dam, the Vostochny Cosmodrome, Olympic venues in the Sirius Federal Territory, and the nuclear-powered icebreaker Arktika.
