The ROC Athletes’ Commission held a meeting in the video-conference format to sum up the results of the current year.
The chairman of the ROC AC, Olympic champion in athletics Yuri Borzakovsky, recalled in his speech the main events of 2023, in which the ROC Athletes’ Commission took part. Those were, for example, the round table “Olympic Mothers” dedicated to the International Women’s Day, the III National Athletes Forum in Minsk, the IV Extended meeting of the ROC Athletes’ Commission in Moscow.
The Secretary of the ROC AC Ekaterina Gorokhova informed the meeting participants about the most important events in 2024. For example, representatives of the ROC Athletes’ Commission are planned to participate in the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, the International Forum of Young Olympians, and the International Summer Games “Children of Asia” in Yakutsk.
The members of the ROC AC discussed in detail the plan for further work and shared their proposals.
