The General Secretary of ROC has invited his colleagues to the International Forum of Young Olympians, traditionally held in Moscow on 1 June.
Rodion Plitukhin also pointed out the importance of the National Olympic Committees providing full support to their members – the sports federations. At the request of the leadership of the Russian Surfing Federation, he sent a request to the Israeli National Olympic Committee for support in developing cooperation at the level of the surfing federations of both countries.
The head of the Israeli NOC thanked the representative of ROC for the opportunity to directly discuss relevant issues on the international and bilateral agenda.
The ROC has conveyed its position to its Israeli counterparts that athletes, regardless of nationality, should fully and equally represent their NOCs and countries at Olympic competition.
