Stanislav Pozdnyakov has been re-elected as the President of the Russian Olympic Committee for a second term.

Today, in Moscow, as part of the Olympic Assembly, elections were held for the governing bodies of the Russian Olympic Committee.

The current head of the organization, four-time Olympic fencing champion Stanislav Alekseevich Pozdnyakov, received overwhelming support from the members of the Russian Olympic Committee and was unanimously re-elected for a new four-year term.

Vladimir Borisovich Sengleev retained his position as General Director. He has been working at the Russian Olympic Committee since 2010, and in his current role since 2014.

Rodion Gennadyevich Plitukhin was elected as General Secretary of the Russian Olympic Committee. He holds two higher education degrees, in law and economics, and has been working in the field of physical culture and sports since 2004. He has been with the Russian Olympic Committee since 2017, and since 2018, he served as Deputy General Director and Head of the President's Office.

Igor Evgenyevich Levitin, Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation, was re-elected as First Vice-President of the Russian Olympic Committee.

The Vice-Presidents of the Russian Olympic Committee for the next four years will be:

  1. Vladimir Igorevich Kozhin – President of the Association for Winter Olympic Sports.

  2. Gennady Nikolaevich Timchenko – Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kontinental Hockey League.

  3. Vasily Nikolaevich Titov – President of the All-Russian Association of Summer Olympic Sports, President of the Russian Gymnastics Federation.

  4. Sergey Nikolaevich Shishkarev – President of the Handball Federation of Russia.

The new composition of the Executive Committee of the Russian Olympic Committee includes:

  1. Yuri Vasilyevich Avdeev – Chairman of the Olympic Council of St. Petersburg.

  2. Yuri Mikhailovich Borzakovsky – Chairman of the Athletes’ Commission of the Russian Olympic Committee, Olympic champion.

  3. Olga Alexandrovna Brusnikina – President of the Russian Synchronised Swimming Federation, three-time Olympic champion.

  4. Elena Valeryevna Vyalbe – President of the Russian Ski Federation, three-time Olympic champion.

  5. Nikolai Alekseevich Gulyaev – President of the Russian Speed Skating Union, Olympic champion.

  6. Dmitry Eduardovich Dubrovsky – President of the Russian Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined Federation.

  7. Elena Gadzhiyevna Isinbayeva – Member of the International Olympic Committee, two-time Olympic champion.

  8. Vladimir Igorevich Kozhin – President of the Association for Winter Olympic Sports.

  9. Igor Evgenyevich Levitin – Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation.

  10. Viktor Viktorovich Maigur – President of the Russian Biathlon Union.

  11. Mikhail Gerazievich Mamiashvili – President of the Russian Wrestling Federation, Olympic champion.

  12. Natalia Yuryevna Melnikova – President of the Central Olympic Academy.

  13. David Vladimirovich Musulbes – President of the Russian Union of Athletes, Olympic champion.

  14. Rodion Gennadyevich Plitukhin – General Secretary of the Russian Olympic Committee.

Additionally, the delegates of the Olympic Assembly elected the new composition of the Russian Olympic Committee's Audit and Revision Commission:

  1. Natalia Vadimovna Boldyreva – Executive Director of the Russian Synchronised Swimming Federation.

  2. Boris Vladimirovich Grishin – Executive Director of the All-Russian Athletics Federation.

  3. Alexander Mikhailovich Gusyatnikov – Member of the Presidium of the Russian Cycling Federation.

  4. Stanislav Vladimirovich Druzhinin – President of the Russian Diving Federation.
