Today is the national day of mourning in Russia. The whole country mourns the victims of Kemerovo and prays for those who survived this terrible fire. The president conveyed his condolences to the families and friends of the fire victims and ordered that on the day of mourning flags fly at half mast across the country, while cultural institutions, television and radio broadcasters cancel entertaining events and programs.
Now is not the time for smiles and laughter. Great grief is upon all of us…
